Waterbird in Reeds

Features

It's amazing what one can do with a sllice of left-over laminated wood, a few dowels, and a whole lot of work. One can make a sleek, stylized version of a waterbird, this one closely resembling a Little Blue Heron. An image of this carving was chosen by the Canadian Craft Federation to help publicize nationally their "Craft150 Celebration".
