White-capped waterbird


I enjoyed putting a colleague's cast-off laminated wood to good use. The "whitecap" in the title refers to a small bit of very light wood that appears on the very crown of the bird's head. Much more obvious are the effects of the pose, namely quiet pride and humble grace.
